Equity Market privacy policy

This policy describes what personal data we process when you use the Equity Market platform, and why. The full terms governing your use of the platform are on the terms of service page.
1. What we process
We process your account details, your interest records, and data about your use of the platform. Account details are the name and email address you give when you create an account; an interest record is which investment you registered interest in and the channel you asked to be contacted through.
Answers you give to profile questions are stored against your account. Those answers do not establish eligibility or suitability — section 4 of the terms of service explains that.
2. Signing in with Google
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address, and basic profile information from Google. We request no other Google data — no access to your Drive, calendar, or contacts.
The security of your Google account is governed by your agreement with Google.
3. Why we process it
We process this data in order to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations. That includes maintaining your account, matching an interest record to the investment it concerns, and contacting you through the channel you asked for.
4. Interest requests and contact consent
Interest requests record the channel you selected and your explicit consent to be contacted. WhatsApp links carry only the short name of the investment concerned; no other personal information travels in the link.
No third-party chat script loads until a provider is selected and the required consent is obtained.
5. Third-party services
The platform relies on third-party services for authentication, analytics, live support, and email delivery. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Links from the platform to third-party sites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content or their data practices.

We may update this policy from time to time. Where a change is substantive, the effective date and version number above are updated.
